Are you ready for something different?
No traffic, beautiful scenery, and a taste of the old. Nestled in
the heart of Western Pennsylvania in the Laurel Highlands,
this area offers many attractions. Our host hotel, the
Historic Summit Inn sets at the top of the Summit Mountains. Harry
Truman, Henry Fonda, and Harvey Firestone have all been guests at
the Inn. It was built in 1907, celebrating over 100 years of
hospitality. It is one of the last porch hotels. The hotel has
been renovated keeping the original architecture, It is
listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Registration will be held at the hotel Hospitality Room starting at
1:00 PM. Hors d'oeuvre Reception 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM COST $32.00 per

MONDAY, JULY 14, 2008 - Driving Tour
AM - Fallingwater, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most widely acclaimed
works was designed in 1935 for the now extinct store owner, Edjar J.
Kaufmann, The key to the house is the waterfall over which it is
built. Fallingwater is the only Wright house to come into
public domain. It is considered a Masterpiece of Twentieth - Century
Art.
Lunch will be on your own at the Fallingwater Cafe. We will drive
through and stop briefly at Ohiophyle to see the Town and the Falls.
PM - Kentuk Knob, another home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
This home depicts the warmth, serenity and functionality of a home
designed for family living. This home is nestled in the mountains
enhanced by a wooded landscape and owned by British Lord Peter
Palumbo. COST $32.00 per person
TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2008 - Bus Tour
Pittsburgh 3 Rivers Boat Tour. Sightseeing cruise on Pittsburgh's
Three Rivers lunch at the Grand Concourse, the magnificently
restored former P & Le Train Station. Frick car and Carriage Museum
and Art Museum Clayton, the restored 19th century home of Henry Clay
Frick. Cost $60.00 per person
WEDNESDAY, JULY 16, 2008
National Meeting - 10:00 AM
Local tours on your own. Fort Necessity, Laurel Caverns, Quecreek
Mine, Rescue Sight, Flight 93 Temporary Memorial and Flight 93
Memorial Chapel, Jumonville Glen, Nemacolin Woodlands - 5* Resort,
Zoo, or rest and relaxation on the Porch Hotel or Pool.
Evening - Christian Klay Winery 5:30 - 9:30 PM A fun evening is
planned at the Christian W. Klay Winery. Bring your easy clothes and
shoes to enjoy a hayride, tour of the vineyards, wine tasting, blue
grass band and a hog roast served in the 1880's restored barn.
The dinner includes pork, chicken, baked beans, potato salad,
coleslaw, corn on the cob, red skinned potatoes, rolls and butter,
grilled peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream, Iced Tea, Coffee and Wine
Bar. Cost $42.00 per person
